7 Legendary Vegan Desserts for Quarantine

7 Legendary Vegan Desserts for Quarantine

Something about being stuck at home puts me in the mood to bake. And if you’re like me, all that effort must result in melt-in-your-mouth, sugary, gooey deliciousness. So we did the hard work for you Real Live Folks.

After scouring the internet and testing out all types of recipes, I bring you the seven most epic, legendary, astronomical desserts to keep you happily social distancing for the rest of the year.

Remember: they can’t steal your cookies from 6 feet away!

1. The World’s Easiest Cinnamon Rolls

To start the day off right, we bring you the world’s easiest cinnamon rolls from The Minimalist Baker.

This recipe calls for common pantry staples, which makes it perfect for these difficult times. And homemade has that nostalgia that store-bought just doesn’t bring.

2. Berry Crumble Bars

These bars by Domestic Gothess were a life changing discovery.

Made with oats and berries, this is an ‘anytime dessert’ that you shouldn’t feel guilty about.

3. Vegan Apple Pie

Connoisseurus Veg has succeeded at the perfect classic apple pie!

And toppings are what bring an apple pie together. Consider the following nice cream (sans the cookie dough it’s simply vanilla nice cream), or the caramel drizzle made from dates.

The truly adventurous might even try  their pie with both on top!

4. Cookie Dough Nice Cream

This creative recipe from Wholly Plants makes nice cream using 1 sneaky ingredient.

It might sound weird, but don’t let that stop you from trying it.

The secret ingredient is….

Drum roll please….

Chickpeas!!

5. Caramel Date Sauce

Caramel is one of those frustrating things they always seem to sneak dairy into. Shane & Simple shares an easy recipe to satiate that caramel craving.

It literally takes 3 ingredients and 10 minutes to throw together. Enjoy drizzled on desserts or as a fruit dip.

6. Banana Bread

It seems banana bread has been all the rage in #quarantinecooking.

This one by Nora Cooks is amazing!

Of course, never be afraid to get creative with add-ins.

7. Easy 1 Bowl Peanut Butter Cookies

Simple Veganista lives up to her name. This truly is so easy and fast to whip together!

Pro tip: freeze half the batch in little balls for a quick snack on these warmer days.

Are you hungry yet?

As the business world slows down, it’s fun to use this time to try recipes old and new. We hope you enjoyed these as much as we did!
